| Perry-Morrice General Chamber Member: April 2007 |
TOM ROUTHIER (left) from the Shiawassee County Equalization Office was the Guest Speaker at the April General Chamber Meeting. He discussed how the Headlee Amendment to the Michigan Constitution works and how the School Operating Millage is applied after Proposal A. Local business owners raised questions and concerns during the course of the meeting, in response to the upcoming ballot proposal that will be brought before area voters. Lunch was provided by Hungry Howies Pizza of Perry, Michigan.

| Perry-Morrice General Chamber Member: March 2007 |
TIMOTHY KLINE (left) of Perry Web Design was the Guest Speaker at the March General Chamber Meeting. He introduced the new web site that will be used by the Perry-Morrice Area Chamber of Commerce to keep local businesses and residents informed on such matters as business development and opportunities, community events, as well as provide an online jobs database for those offering and seeking employment. Timothy also provided a brief overview of the advantages of using a web site for one's business that can include such features as an e-store, virtual tours, online payments, and online catalogs.
In addition to web site development, Perry Web Design also offers onsite computer maintainance and repairs. Interested persons may visit Timothy's web site at http://perrywebdesign.com.

| Perry-Morrice Chamber Member of the Year 2007 |
KIM DENNISON (right), was honored as the Perry-Morrice Chamber Member of the Year, during the Chamber's annual dinner Tuesday, Jan. 30, hosted this year at the Michigan Laborers Training Institute on Beardslee Road in Perry Township.
Upon presenting the award, Chamber President Dennis Squires (left) noted that Dennison is a dedicated Chamber member always available to help at events. She has also been the key component for initiating the new Perry-Morrice Town-opoly game project which debuted during the meeting.

| Perry-Morrice Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner |
THE ANNUAL DINNER of the Perry-Morrice Chamber of Commerce, held Tuesday, Jan. 30, was very well attended by board members, members and dignitaries including (from left): front, Holly Chard along with board members Jean Harris and Rich Dietrich as well as (back) board member and Chamber Member of the Year Kim Dennison, outgoing Vice President Sarah Barton, Treasurer Jennie Walker, President Dennis Squires, Secretary Troy Parmalee, state Rep. Richard Ball and state senator Valde Garcia.
Also present but not pictured were Shiawassee County Commissioner Jaime Pavlica, Perry Township Clerk Sandy Michalek and Township Trustee Beth Andrus, Morrice Village Council President Bob Dickerson and Village Trustee Joe Williams.
The Chamber's February meeting will be at noon Tuesday, Feb. 6, at Morrice Elementary library. The guest speaker will be Tim Kline of Perry Web Design. Lunch will be provided by Morrice Schools Food Service. Cost is $6.
