Perry Township BoardAS A RESULT of the November 2006 General Election, the Morrice Village Council is, after several months of various vacancies, operating with a full staff of council members.
  The current council is comprised of (from left): front, Trustees Genie Grinnell and Connie Grover along with (back) Joe Williams, President Harold “Bob” Dickerson, Trustee Mark Schneider, President Pro-tem Don Rundell and new council member Robert Knowlton.

Public Service

Perry - Morrice area has been thriving because it offers the lowest property taxes in the Greater Lansing area as well as an abundance of affordable housing.

A new ambulance facility was completed in 1993.  Perry - Morrice is serviced by two local police departments, the County Sheriff and the State Police.

TDS Telephone Company offers a state-of-the-art fiber optic phone system with local calling services to the Greater Lansing area.


Medical Facilities

Perry - Morrice is within a short drive of 8 major hospitals including Sparrow's Neo-Natal Care Facility.  Michigan State University is a major teaching and training facility for medical doctors and doctors of Osteopathy.  Locally we are served by medical, dental, and chiropractic professionals.
